Location: Calo Dubai Central Production Unit — temperature-controlled environment with mandatory PPE during all dispatch operations
Function: On-the-floor leadership during food portioning and dispatch windows — solving problems quickly, keeping operations moving
Portioning: Ensure precise portioning aligned with Calo’s calories and macronutrient guidelines for every customer meal
Standards: HACCP compliance, sanitation protocols, food safety due diligence checks, and labeling accuracy
Coordination: Works closely with Ops & Dispatch Management, Logistics, and Quality teams

As Food Dispatch Supervisor at Calo’s Dubai Central Production Unit, you are the person who makes the final production window work — the operational leader who ensures every meal is portioned precisely, packed correctly, labeled accurately, and dispatched on time to Calo’s delivery teams across Dubai.
This is a hands-on, active leadership role that demands equal parts technical precision and people leadership. You will train and guide food packing personnel, maintain HACCP and sanitation standards, minimize portioning and labeling errors through proactive practice, and use Calo’s internal dashboards to track operations in real time.  Detailed Responsibilities
On-Floor Leadership & Team Supervision
- Act as the on-the-floor leader during food portioning and dispatch windows — solving problems quickly, making operational decisions in real time, and keeping the dispatch operation moving without interruption.
- Lead the team in full alignment with Calo’s culture and brand values through clear, empathetic, and motivating communication that keeps the team engaged and performing at their best.
- Provide support, training, and supervision to food packing personnel deployed for portioning and dispatching of meals — building the team’s technical capability and quality focus through consistent coaching.
Portioning, Packing & Dispatch
- Execute all portioning and packing preparations with consistency and efficiency — training and guiding the team to perform at the same level to ensure every meal meets Calo’s standards.
- Ensure precise portioning aligned with Calo’s calories and macronutrient guidelines for every meal — accuracy in this area is non-negotiable, as it directly fulfills Calo’s health promise to customers.
- Minimize errors through effective practices in portioning, packing, labeling, and dispatch of meals — using internal dashboards to monitor operations and catch deviations before they impact customer experience.
- Follow daily portioning guidelines and ensure the timely dispatch of meals to delivery teams — maintaining a dispatch cadence that supports on-time delivery to all Calo customers.
HACCP, Safety & Sanitation
- Maintain routine due diligence checks — adhering to HACCP standards along with sanitation and safety protocols throughout all dispatch operations in the temperature-controlled production environment.
- Ensure that all team members wear and use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during dispatch operations — maintaining a safe, compliant working environment.
- Work closely with the Quality team to address any portioning accuracy concerns, food safety deviations, or improvements needed in the dispatch workflow.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate closely with Operations & Dispatch Management, Logistics, and Quality teams to align on portioning accuracy, customer-specific requests, and workflow improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of dispatch operations — bringing a passionate, quality-focused mindset to identifying and implementing workflow enhancements that reduce errors and improve efficiency.
