Position Overview
This AI Engineer role at SSG Events Dubai is a full-ownership, production-focused engineering position. You will build and maintain LLM-powered content workflows, design systems for data ingestion, classification, ranking, and summarization, develop orchestration pipelines using LangGraph, LangChain, or Temporal, integrate diverse data sources including APIs, RSS feeds, and web content, optimize AI performance and operating costs, deploy cloud-based infrastructure, and work directly with leadership to scale the platform. This is a hands-on engineering role — not a research or advisory position.

Key Responsibilities
LLM Workflow & AI System Engineering
- Build and maintain production-grade AI and LLM-powered content workflows at real scale
- Develop workflow orchestration using LangGraph, Temporal, LangChain, or similar modern frameworks
- Optimize AI performance, output quality, response latency, and overall operating costs
- Work closely with leadership to continuously improve and scale the AI content platform
Data Ingestion & Pipeline Engineering
- Design and build systems for data ingestion, processing, classification, ranking, and summarization
- Integrate data from APIs, RSS feeds, websites, and other structured and unstructured content sources
- Build reliable, scalable data pipelines that feed classification and AI-driven content generation workflows
- Implement robust error handling, retries, and failure recovery mechanisms across all pipelines
Production Reliability & Cloud Infrastructure
- Improve system reliability through monitoring, observability, alerting, retries, and automated failure recovery
- Deploy and manage cloud-based infrastructure and automation pipelines on AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Own end-to-end architecture and deployment of AI systems — from design through to live production
- Independently manage projects from initial architecture decisions through to full production deployment
Qualifications & Requirements
Core Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong Python programming skills
- Hands-on experience building and operating LLM-based systems in real production environments
- Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or comparable AI platform APIs in production workflows
- Experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure — deployment, automation, and operations
- Experience with APIs, workflow automation tools, and data pipeline engineering at production scale
- Ability to independently own projects from architecture design through to full production deployment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with RAG systems, vector databases, and semantic retrieval architectures
- Experience implementing AI evaluation frameworks and production monitoring for LLM systems
- Background in media, publishing, search, recommendation engines, or content intelligence platforms
