Position Overview
This Mechanical Engineer – Field Service role focuses on keeping heavy equipment running reliably for Al Marwan Group’s UAE operations. You will diagnose and resolve mechanical and hydraulic faults, execute preventive and corrective maintenance, support commissioning and overhauls, supervise field activities, and coordinate spare parts to minimize downtime and maintain customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnostics & Repair
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and powertrain faults in heavy equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance, overhauls, and breakdown repairs
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
Field Service & Site Supervision
- Conduct field service calls and emergency breakdown support
- Supervise field service activities and technicians at project sites
- Monitor job progress, quality, and HSE compliance
Spare Parts & Coordination
- Coordinate spare parts requirements for service jobs
- Liaise with stores, procurement, and workshop teams on parts planning
- Support equipment commissioning, testing, and major overhauls
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- 2-5 years in heavy equipment service, maintenance, or field operations
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, axles
- Ability to read technical drawings and service manuals
- UAE/GCC experience and UAE driving license preferred
