Position Overview
This HOP Site Team Leader role involves leading the team and working closely with site management to achieve company goals, supervising efficient and accurate order picking against time targets, overseeing dispatch and accurate handling of orders to riders, ensuring compliance with temperature regulations and stock replenishment, completing daily stock counts and claims processes, driving merchandising and site cleanliness standards, and completing H&S checks and accurate timekeeping supervision.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Shift Management
- Lead the team, working closely with site management to achieve all company objectives and goals
- Effectively prioritise tasks and activities on shift while staying hands-on
Order Picking & Dispatch
- Supervise that all orders are picked efficiently and accurately, meeting time targets and packaging SLAs
- Operate and oversee the dispatch order, ensuring accurate handling of orders to riders
- Communicate professionally and effectively with Deliveroo riders
Inventory & Compliance
- Ensure deliveries are handled per company policies, driving adherence to temperature regulations
- Maintain inventory accuracy and stock rotation, completing the claims process daily where appropriate
- Complete stock counts as per company policy with a keen eye for inventory management
Site Standards & Safety
- Drive strong standards, adhering to merchandising and space management principles for a clean, organised site
- Maintain good relations with neighbours, landlords and contractors to uphold Deliveroo’s reputation
- Complete H&S checks and ensure employees adhere to company policies throughout shifts
- Supervise accurate timekeeping, ensuring breaks and working time requirements are followed
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar environment (FMCG, retail, warehouse, last mile) preferred but not essential
- Proven track record of consistently hitting KPI targets (e.g. pick times)
- Demonstrated leadership and experience training other associates
Essential Skills
- Strong hands-on mentality and detail-oriented approach
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Track record of attendance, punctuality and reliability
- Ability to run shifts independently
- Good communication skills and proficiency in both written and spoken English
- Right to work in the UAE
