Position Overview
The Production Supervisor at KDD Kuwait will lead and oversee daily production operations across KDD’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility — covering dairy, juice, ice cream, and culinary product lines. As Production Supervisor, you will direct and manage production teams across assigned shifts, ensure product quality and food safety standards are consistently maintained, monitor production output and efficiency, enforce GMP and hygiene standards, coordinate with quality assurance and maintenance teams, and contribute actively to KDD’s commitment to continuous process optimization and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
Production Floor Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise and lead production teams across assigned shifts — ensuring all staff are working efficiently, safely, and consistently in line with KDD’s production targets and quality standards
- Plan and coordinate daily production schedules across dairy, juice, ice cream, and culinary product lines to meet output targets, minimize downtime, and ensure on-time delivery to distribution
- Motivate, coach, and develop production team members — providing clear operational direction, performance feedback, and on-the-job development support to maintain a high-performing manufacturing workforce
- Manage effective shift handovers — communicating production status, quality issues, pending tasks, and operational priorities clearly to incoming supervisors and operations management
Quality, Food Safety & GMP Compliance
- Enforce KDD’s food safety standards, GMP requirements, and hygiene protocols rigorously across all production areas and product lines throughout every shift
- Monitor production line quality continuously — ensuring all products meet KDD’s specifications for composition, packaging, labeling, and safety before release to dispatch
- Coordinate closely with the Quality Assurance team to address non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and maintain full production compliance with KDD’s quality management systems
- Support internal and external food safety audits — ensuring all production documentation, GMP records, and compliance evidence is audit-ready and accurately maintained at all times
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency across dairy, juice, ice cream, and culinary production lines
- Troubleshoot production line issues swiftly and effectively — minimizing downtime and disruption to KDD’s manufacturing schedules and delivery commitments
- Contribute actively to KDD’s ongoing investment in process optimization, facility improvement, and production excellence initiatives aligned with the company’s quality and growth strategy
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all production equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and operating within required performance parameters
Reporting & Administrative Functions
- Maintain accurate production records, shift output logs, quality check documentation, and incident reports in line with KDD’s administrative and regulatory requirements
- Report daily production performance, efficiency metrics, quality deviations, and improvement recommendations to the Production Manager or Operations leadership team
- Support production planning and inventory management activities — coordinating with procurement and logistics teams to ensure material availability for uninterrupted production operations
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Proven hands-on supervisory experience in food manufacturing production — experience within dairy, beverage, juice, ice cream, or culinary product manufacturing environments is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage shift-based production teams effectively in a fast-paced, high-output food manufacturing facility
- Strong understanding of food production processes, GMP compliance, food safety management systems, and quality control standards applicable to dairy and beverage manufacturing
