 Position Overview

The Chemist at this Al Ain beverage manufacturing facility will be a technically hands-on quality and production chemistry professional responsible for beverage processing oversight, syrup and line monitoring, GMP and GLP compliance, chemical preparations, customer complaint handling, SAP system operation, and KORE and HACCP implementation across CAN and PET production lines. Key Responsibilities

Beverage Processing & Line Monitoring

  • Perform beverage processing operations including syrup preparation, dilution monitoring, and quality line checks across all CSD production lines in the facility
  • Conduct startup procedures for CAN and PET production lines following established quality plans, operational standards, and KORE requirements precisely
  • Perform CIP (Clean-In-Place) procedures strictly in accordance with the CIP Matrix, ensuring cleaning and sanitation standards are consistently met across all production equipment
  • Monitor production line parameters continuously to detect deviations from quality specifications and take immediate corrective action to maintain product consistency

GMP, GLP, KORE & HACCP Compliance

  • Execute and implement KORE (Key Operating Requirements) and all applicable local regulatory requirements across all beverage production and quality activities
  • Maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GHK (Good Housekeeping) at consistently high levels across all workplaces and production areas
  • Implement and monitor HACCP plans and food safety protocols throughout the beverage production process — identifying critical control points and managing them proactively
  • Conduct cleaning and sanitation activities as per KORE requirements, ensuring all production areas, equipment, and laboratory spaces meet the highest hygiene standards

Quality Control, Auditing & Customer Complaints

  • Handle customer complaints professionally and systematically — investigating root causes, implementing corrective actions, and documenting outcomes accurately in SAP
  • Support quality audits, internal inspections, and external regulatory visits by maintaining audit-ready documentation, records, and compliance evidence at all times
  • Conduct beverage quality checks including microbiological, chemical, and physical analysis in line with product specifications and KORE quality standards
  • Perform market surveillance activities using the UAE driving license — collecting and analyzing market samples to ensure product quality in trade channels

Chemical Preparations & Documentation

  • Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and quality control materials accurately for laboratory analysis and production quality monitoring activities
  • Maintain accurate, comprehensive documentation and records of all quality checks, chemical preparations, CIP procedures, and production monitoring activities
  • Operate SAP ERP system for quality data recording, complaint management, and production quality reporting with accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare and submit quality reports, deviation records, and corrective action documentation to supervisors and the quality management team regularly

Qualifications & Requirements
