Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure full compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), and GHP (Good Hygiene Practice) standards daily
- Identify quality deviations and implement timely corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurrence
Customer Complaints & Corrective Actions
- Handle all quality-related customer complaints professionally with prompt investigation and effective resolution
- Document complaint details, root cause analysis findings, and corrective action outcomes accurately for management records
- Coordinate with production and operations teams to implement sustainable improvements based on complaint trends and quality data
- Report quality performance metrics and corrective action status to senior management on a regular basis
Documentation, Reporting & Food Safety Standards
- Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date quality documentation and compliance reporting records across all production areas
- Prepare detailed quality inspection reports, non-conformance records, and audit-ready documentation as required
- Apply strong knowledge of GMP, GHP, food safety, and hygiene standards to support a culture of continuous quality improvement
- Support and participate in internal and external food safety audits using ISO 22000 Lead Auditor expertise
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), or an equivalent scientific field
- Additional qualifications or postgraduate studies in food safety, quality management, or meat science are a strong advantage
Certifications Required
- HACCP Level 4 Certification — mandatory and non-negotiable requirement for this quality supervisor position in Oman
